Request a namespace

A namespace is your own space on the NRP — where your pods, storage and quotas live.

Log in first

Sign in once at nrp.ai before filling this in. That creates your account, and we cannot add you to a namespace until it exists. You will be handed to CILogon, which asks you to pick an identity provider.

At that step, choose your own institution as the identity provider. An institutional account establishes who you are and where you work, which is most of the verification done. A personal account is harder to verify and may lead to your request being declined.

If your institution is not listed in CILogon, Google or Microsoft will do — provided you sign in with your institutional email address, not a personal one. Avoid ORCID: it rarely carries enough information to confirm who you are.

The email on the account you picked at CILogon — your campus address, if you chose your university. That is the one attached to your NRP account, and what we search for. It is not necessarily where you normally read mail.

Start typing and pick your organisation from the list. If it is not there — a company or a smaller lab, say — just type the name.

Your department or faculty page. Speeds up verification, and matters most if you did not log in with a campus account.

Leave blank and we will choose one. Lowercase letters, digits and hyphens.

API keys for the hosted LLM endpoints. You can ask for this later if you are not sure.
